Archive: Celebrating our LGBTQ Welcome
Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM
Trinity held a special service, to celebrate Trinity's existence as a Reconciling in Christ Congregation, one of only two congregations in NE Ohio!
Trinity Lutheran Church has been explicitly welcoming the LGBTQIA+ since 2001. We are passionate about welcoming all people into this community. We celebrate the diversity of God's creation and our unity as God's children. In our ministry of reconciliation, we strive to transcend all human boundaries. People of any race, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and ability are welcome.
Although we strive to celebrate this identity of ours each and every week, this worship service is our annual celebration where we join congregations across the country to celebrate our public welcome.
Join with us as we seek to understand God's love for us. We invite you to struggle with us to be faithful messengers of that love in the world.

Archive: Trinity Lutheran's Deconsecration Service
Sunday, January 14, 2018
The church community of Trinity Lutheran Church will gather for one final service at the 16400 Detroit Ave location. We will begin in the sanctuary at 10: 00 AM for the deconsecration. All are then invited to process from our 16400 Detroit Ave location to our new worship space at 1375 W Clifton Blvd (corner of Detroit & W Clifton) following the deconsecration for the remainder of the service. You can join the presiding ministers in a walking procession or you are welcome to drive and reconvene in the chapel. Bishop Abraham Allende from the Northeastern Ohio Synod office will be joining us as well.
Trinity is looking forward to gathering together to give thanks for the physical space that has served Trinity well over the years and to celebrate the ways in which Trinity will continue to serve its mission in the years to come. Please join us!
